North Carolina State University - Department Of Genetics

The University wide Program in Genetics consists of 53 faculty members in 14 Departments and four Colleges, who have research interests spanning all aspects of genetics from molecules to populations. The program also administers outstanding undergraduate and graduate training programs in genetics.

Event Information

We are happy to announce that the Genetics Program Annual Fall Retreat will take place on Friday, August 14, 2015 and will be held at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center located at Research Triangle Park.

This is an all-inclusive event intended to connect faculty, postdocs, all staff and students of the Genetics Program at NC State University. We encourage everyone involved in the Genetics Program to attend! We are hoping for a large group at the retreat this year.

This will be an all day event from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and will include auditorium presentations by faculty, postdoc, and student members of the Genetics Program as well as poster presentations and chalk-talks. There will also be a fun social event in the afternoon.

*Registration is $15 for students, postdocs, and staff and $30 for faculty. Registration also includes breakfast, lunch, and an all-day beverage service with coffee.
